Poser's Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VII
Sup tire specialists???...Mileage don't mean a lot unless yer puttin a lotta miles on'em.....Then it can get damn expensive. At a couple hunnert dollars a pop, 12,000 miles outta a tire iz way better than 6-7000!!!
JMO....YMMV

Yep.....I think I put 4 rears on the Heritage in the 19 months I had it....6500 miles and time to change. On the Ultra, I changed at a little over 12,000 and still had some wear left. When they get near the wear bars, they're changed.Gotta change them sooner or later, why risk it?
I got Cobras on my Road King and like em a lot for handling. Imold is correct, they want more air pressure in em I run 42 in the back and 40 in the front. I only have 5k on them but they still look new.

Costco was sure crowded this morning. Been there onna Saturday that wasn't as bad. Didn't carry my phone, on line only.
I wonder if how ya ride don't make a lot of difference on tire mileage, seems to vary a lot on same tire and bike from forum posts. I don't do burnouts or even full throttle much, and not much around here in the way of twisties unless I head next door to Wisconsin.
Sn*wing again. Ain't covering, though.

Moldie, I think the kind of roads ya ride on has something to do with it. Seems the back roads that I ride on mostly are like cheese graters. Would imagine a lot of highway miles on good roads would make a big difference. I see guys saying that they get 20-25,000 on a tire. Also wonder if they ride 'til the cords are showin', too.
