Moldie, got a 50 mile ride in yesterday at 28*-30*....

 

On the Ural? At that temp, my toes get chilly in about half an hour, even with my insulated boots.

 

No, son got a great deal on a 2012 Switchback, but it was one of those "be here this afternoon with cash" deals. Trouble with getting a trailer, so he asked me if I'd ride it home.....Only my toes got cold, because I put the uninsulated boots on and there's no lowers on it....heated liner and gloves, though

 

Donno how you guyz come across great dealz like that. My luck seems ta run inna other direction.

 

Sorry, slipped my mind that you'd mentioned that before. I'm trying to not find any great deals, at least till I reduce the current stable a bit. Hmm, haven't looked at CL for... at least 3 days. Don't do it, don't do it. Uh, gotta go do sumptin, back later...

 

This was somewhat of a fluke, just posted on Craigslist yesterday morning. Guy about our age, probably wasn't really up on values. He was askin' $11k and took $9800. I see them advertised up here from 12 -14 and i don't know if they have ABS. Guy had to have over $18 into it..2200 miles.

Guy said that he moved from NY state, lives a mile or so in on a dirt road and a little shakey ridin' on it , had nobody to ride with...Told him that he should look into a URAL....

 

Knowin' my kid, it'll probably be for sale next year with 3200 miles on it.

 

Yes, I'm a city cop lol. Btw, you guys are hard to keep up with. I'm at work right now. But, we can't say work in here so I won't say work. Or job...
