Was dressing for an Ural grocery run when gf called and said she was on the way over. Didn't feel so bad about missing an Uralride when I saw how much salt was still on the road in the store neighborhood (she wouldn't consider the Ural in these temps). Takes a gully washer to clear Minnysota salt away. More snow in the forecast, probably more salt, but riding here in January and Feb was a first for me, now I can say I've ridden in all 12 months in Minnysota (first March last year).
Who came up with the idea of getting a point when you lose? Sure seems pretty stupid to be rewarded with a point to lose a game. That's like everybody gets a trophy.
Yeah, I don't know Tick. I'm not a big hockey fan as I don't know the rules and I don't even know what they are doing out there most of the time. It sure is fun ribbing you about it tho!! But I think if you are tied at the end of regulation, you get a point for going into overtime.
Maybe the "Mild" should try keping a close enough score so they can get a chance to win in overtime!!
The Preds won Monday night in the shootout. That moved Nashville up 1 spot in the standings.
I quit watching hockey when they sent half of the team to San hosa. Then they sent the rest of the North Stars to Dallas. Just started watching hockey again this season. Wild never won a game last month. Guess the did the same last year. Baseball will be starting soon. Pitchers and catchers reported to spring training Sunday.
