. . . . We had 38" on Halloween some years back, then a bunch more the next day. I think that time they closed schools for a couple days, almost unheard of previously. Lotsa folks just went to werk as usual. Biggest problem we had was you couldn't see over the snow at a lot of intersections.

 

Moldy, the way the MSM is handling this, you would think everyone in the eastern US is going to die. This idiot governor we have here has declared a state of emergency.....and the very 1st snowflake has yet to fall!!!!!....It isn't even due until tomorrow sometime.

 

They get a little excited here sometimes. Kinda funny, that big Halloween snow took em by surprise, was only expecting a few inches. Came down on time, but then it just wouldn't quit. I enjoyed it, took off 3 "snow days" - my street didn't get plowed till the third day. Snow was over the hood of the car, it wasn't going anywhere. Graveyard shift was on the clock for 2 days, double time after 12 hours; they got a nice paycheck. Lotsa free food, too, company had it delivered. I had more fun at home with the daughter, worth more than money.

 

Back from basketball game. Our team won. For the 2nd time this year. Oldest gdaughter did good. First game that younger gdaughter was not a member of the team. She sat in the stands with us and cheered the team on.

 

Wild game starting soon. I ain't watching them losers. Gonna call it a night pretty soon.

Well, the Pens actually beat the flyers tonight. On that note, I think I'll call it a night...C-y'all tomorrow.
