Huge warmup expected today, gonna make it a bit into double digit on the better side of zero. Got painful getting the mail yesturday. My fault, pulled the neighbor's garbage cans up from the street; they weren't home all day. That extra minute wus more'n the gloves could handle. Next way below, I'll remember the mitts with liners. Don't know how them Eskimos do it, gotta respect those folks.

Weather guessers changed the weekend lows forecast up to -15. Lot better'n -20. Now if they'll just change it up again tomorrow and Friday...

CC... Never bothered. Not saying I never carried... Mosta the places that could be dangerous in Minnysota have "Rob Me" signs anyway. Try to stay out of em...

Few days ago woke up to some birds making a racket. Don't remember ever seeing birds here in January before.

I've been pulling the bike batteries and putting them together in the basement, rotating a tender among them, but put a tender on the Ural in the grudge, leaving it in, just in case... Have my fanciest tender on the van for these sub zero nights, will take it off tomorrow to give the basement batteries a top off. Have a couple Schumacher tenders down there, but a battery cooked on one and I don't trust them anymore.

If you remove the extension cord and/or tender when the temp is below freezing, bring them in the house before folding/coiling the wires, much easier after warming up. My 12 ga extension cord is like a pole out there right now, afraid the insulation might crack if I tried to coil it.

I guess I'll go to work in a little while and see what it's like in there.
