I was thinking about getting a roku 4 but I was waiting for them to get all the bugs worked out. How is yours holding up?

I think the only one on that list that was lower channel/broadcast was Firefly. Not much on those I care for, either. Ones you mentioned, and a lot of PBS - most of their stuff streams on my Roku. Getting a lot of Netflix original stuff now, but most of it is just junk to me. I expect Netflix will be the biggest original content provider before very long.

The 4 occasionally hangs up for several seconds - not even every show or every day, just once in a while, and only with Netflix. Might just be a Netflix problem. I wouldn't want to go back to the 3, colors and contrast are better with the 4 (high end Samsung, might not notice on a low cost Visio or such). It runs hotter than the 3, hope that won't be a problem. One of the reasons I got it was because I was having to unplug the 3 to reboot it a couple or 3 times a week, but that didn't change with the 4 at first, and then it seemed to stop. Might have been a Netflix problem, too.

Thanks for the review. I run a Phillips 1080 tv. I reboot my 3 from time to time, you know you can reboot from the settings ..... system ....system restart.. menu And you don't have to get out of your chair. But that only works if it isn't frozen. I will probably buy a 4 before the end of the month.

Ya know Sugar actually told me I should get up early to hang with the Harley guys at our local burger joint. It's a Tim Hortons. I keep missing 'em but ones got a green bagger and ones got a slingshot. I just got a 1080 Samsung at best buy. The Samsung blue Ray was only 68 at costco and I picked up a sound bar cheaper than the old stereos too.

Only ones I saw that looked better than my Samsung (not many) cost quite a bit more. Had this a year now, and it's still a treat.
