I've got a V45, doesn't do unexpected wheelies, accelerates about like a 1200 Sportster, but higher top end (allegedly, I haven't proved that ). It's a slug compared to a V65. What surprises me about the Honda V4s are their torque; that V45 has better torque than my 883 in any gear, and the power band is pretty smooth all the way up; no high rpm peak, as if a turbo charger kicked in, like so many Japanese bikes do. Almost gives the same torque feeling as a Harley, but way smoother, of course. If only the beast was more comfortable; if you think a Sportster rides rough....
