Just the 2 of them, so not going to be an issue. The whole main floor is now finished in hardwood, including kitchen, laundry and bath!

 

I've become real sensitive to noise. Go into restaurants that are done like that and I know I'm going to suffer. Weeebles make it worse. Builkt a big chalet for my parents back in the 80's. All glass front,hardwood floors and tile, loft.....Could be in the upstairs bedroom and hear a pin drop in the first floor living room.

 

Took a look outside... nope, wusn't a bad dream, still all covered in white out there.

That's another reason I don't eat out much, even high priced restaurants are so noisy it's hard for me to hear whoever I'm with. Hard floors, hard ceilings, loud music, loud people, louder people on cell phones; whatever happened to a quiet murmur of voices and soft music, if any? American society is just loud, rudely loud.

Agree with you and I have trouble hearing as it is!

 

not to mention the careless food preparation, Thanks but no thanks I spend enough time in the bathroom as it is....
