Gets exciting when a fin fails to unfold, though. One of our gunships "shot down" a slick that way. It was already almost on the ground when rocket shrapnel cut the main fuel line next to the engine. Rocket made a right turn and hit the ground real close. Lucky crew on that one, fuel all over, no fire. I saw a law rocket make a 180 after launch once, almost made it back to the guy that fired it, scared hell out of a bunch of us, watching that damned thing coming back...
I worked on the the Prod/Mod Cobras in the 25th Infantry Division that had the grenade chunker and mini-gun, modernized with the 20mm, rockets, TOWs, all the fun stuff!
