I thought for sure that the price of Turkeys was going to go through the roof. On one of my basement jobs, the owner was a vet and heavily involved with the aviation influenza that went through here. Thousands of birds were euthanized but it was contained before it went international.

It hit the chicken production in Minnestoa hard , but didn't hear much about it in the turkey growers. Minn and Texas are the top producer s of turkeys in the country.

This vet told me that Canada produces about 80% of the world's turkeys.
