Got my puter back, daughter stopped by this morning to use mine, had to print stuf for werk, and hers ain't werking. She's got one a them cool jobs where all that matters is what you get done, so since mosta what she does at the office is puter stuf, she can werk at home, my place, inna car, at the lake... She has to do a lot of driving, though, lot of face time with folks at other bidnasses.
Rained pretty much all night, gully's flowing deep this morning. The burn pit flamed for over an hour in a pretty good rain, and couldn't believe my eyes, still smoking this morning. Takes a lot of water to put out about 18 square feet of coals about 6" deep. I've probly burned enuf wood this month to heat the house mosta the winter, what a waste, but I ain't set up for wood burning in the house. At least the trunks and big limbs will heat a neighbor's house a bit, he's taking what must be a couple tons of it. Heats me up lugging all that wood from the piles to the pit.
That'd be most days for me, but other folks don't cooperate. Wish I could get a whole week off every month, no phone calls, music (most of it ain't to me), dogs, or peeps knocking on the door wanting to replace the siding and windows I got 6 or 7 years ago. Lucky to get a day a week, and that'll always have a couple phone calls. Daughter is the only one can say all that's needed in two minutes or less, everbuddy else takes 20 minutes to say hi, how are ya, I'm coming over in 5 minutes... Gotta admit, never get tired of my daughter coming over, mebbe cause she doesn't that often any more.
Your concern is appreciated.
Guess I'll hafta keep em covered up to their chin from now on. Mebbe not as skinny as this one.
