... and they don't make any money if they don't find anything wrong, right?
DR: " How are you doing?"
Me: "Fine, I feel good"
DR: "Ok, then just keep doing what you're doing. I'll see you in 6 months"
Then get billed $150 - $200.....
Good morning crew, and yes every day sucking air is a good day! It,s hard to believe that it is the 40th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald and the night I was part of the rescue mission to search for survivors. My partner Dan Jayne and I had the first helm watch as we struggled to stay afloat with Captain Daugherty watching over us as we fought to stay bow on in heavy seas in the gale force winds and 40 foot waves in a 110 foot Harbor tug, the USCG Cutter Raritan. I was, almost twenty, and when the skipper told us we had to fight to stay upright no matter what and that there were twenty guys whose lives depended on us below decks the reality of service and devotion was hammered home with grim and shocking weight. My life changed forever and we all now understand what it means to be here only by God's grace.
