Hey, my statement had nothing to do with most of the issues you posted. You're expanding the arguement, on my opinion, because you can't defend the opposing viewpoint logically.

The country has a lot of issues. In my 45 years, we have always had a lot of issues, it just depends on where you get your info. It just seems worse over the last 15+ years because of the 24 hour news cycle constantly sensationalizing stories. I like the government constantly being questioned, regardless of who is in office. It keeps them on their toes.

I am all about the government staying out of people's business unless their actions (not beliefs) violate another person or group of people's rights (not beliefs).

Some misunderstand the function of government. It is to protect and secure the rights of the people and organizations within. These rights are defined in the Constition and apply to everyone in the country, not just the people like you. It is not a function of government to protect your cultural comfort zone or defend your micro- culture's definition of marriage.

 

To use a very common quote often found in this forum " Well, I'm all broken up about that man's rights. The pussification contiunes.

 

The scotus is leading us to socialism fast. USA is crumbling and some other form of government is taking its place!!!!!! GOP will not stop the slide. Stalin called it years ago. History does repeat itself.

 

Maybe we could change the popularity of the kneejerk PC bullshit if we would quit calling them "progressives" and start calling them " pussies".

Maybe then men could once again be men.

Some of you sit around and obsess with your "sky is falling mentality" and only entertain points of view that fall in line with what you think you already know. Enjoy wallowing in your misery. The rest of us will think outside the box and be pragmatic about what needs improvement. We'll see in the end who had a happy life.

Sorry to enter into your auro of supremeness. Acutually I enjoy being inside the box, it makes me very happy.

 

Then you will never improve while others improve around you. Never said I was better than anyone, just happier than those that sit around pissed off at the world.

For the record, I am an active lifetime member of the NRA and disagree with a number of the current administration's initiatives. So we don't all fit in nice neat catagories like you are probably more comfortable with.
