Agree completely with #8 Don't ride with my brother (blood). Knows only 2 speeds- stopped and topped. Does not understand the finer pleasures of a ride and bitches continually if you dont keep up. Use to love just diverting my destination to pee him off.

 

This I totally agree with. It takes 10 minutes to run down and buy gas. But instead they think it's okay for the entire group to sit at a gas station waiting for them to dick around and buy gas. New's flash... it's not that exciting watching you fuel up.

Well you've never been around me when I gas up, I can put on quite the show you know. First, should I sit on the bike when fueling or get off the bike? Then, where do I put the gas cap? The hilarity ensues. I think I'll start a thread asking which side of the pump do you pull up too. I agree with the OP though, the first and last HOG ride I went to, the road captain wouldn't gas up with everyone else, even when told to. Guess who ran out of gas in the middle of the highway 30 miles later......

Then when the whole group has to go wait around at the gas station the guilty party doesn't even have the courtesy to use pay at the pump. Instead they have to go inside for 15 freaking minutes and wait in line behind old ladies buying 30 pick 4 lottery tickets and drunks paying for a "40" with change.

 

My solution is "DON'T RIDE IN GROUPS", then the only one you can bitch about is yourself, and that's really no fun!

 

My group always just meets at a gas station. Most people will arrive a little early to get gas, but I always just assume we'll be leaving a little late. I'm lucky to have a gas station with a huge lot right down the street.
