Default Lithium Battery

Anyone using a lithium battery in their bike? I saw one advertised in AIM so I thought I would check into one. Priced one on the internet for a 2009 Ultra. It was $315.00. Ouch, couldn't spend that kind of money on a battery!

didn't that one builder in la have a video on lithium-ion batteries? can't think of his name big time guy, shows his patrick racing motor cranking for over 1.5 minutes (plug wires off) until the starter actually catches fire! if you know about patrick motors they have big time starter failure issues due to cam timing/lift set ups. that battery worked a long time with no let up, and has a very fast recovery time as well

Yes and that was a $1200 battery I went straight to their web site and left just as fast when I found the price sheet

. Lith bats vrs regular batteries can be compaired like cordless tools . Regular Dewalt 18v runs a long while but you'll know she's getting weak a while before it goes . Lithium batteries are ***** to wall full power till it just drops dead in about 10 seconds . Big plus is if you have the right charger you can hit one hard and go in 10 minutes or less and have 95% or better recharge on it .

didn't say they were cheap! I didn't remember them being 1200,00 though when I looked into them, they were around 850.00. Must be "new and improved"!! yea right!
