Those can be useful to maintain balance but they have also been known to plug up the stem on occasion.

In all seriousness, I've used Dyna Beads and they work quite well for balancing your wheels. On my last set of tires I put Ride On in them for balance purposes and just in case I ever get a puncture because having tubes is a PITA.

So if I use either one of these products I can take off the weights and it will seal a puncture?

Dyna Beads are just for balancing, no sealing effect.
