With a couple of exceptions, Florida Crew has become more about being a member of a forum than a group people getting together and riding.

"Log on, say Hi... you're a member." It used to be, "Get your *** on a ride, say Hi... you're a member". But there's never any rides.. and I'm just as guilty of not setting one up. Going on rides to Arizona (last year), and New England (this year).. the only rides I really enjoy these days are overnighters to see new terrain. In two trips I covered 26 states.

Guess we have morphed.. (no, not Murphed ).

I think we are just in a lull. I really haven't been able to ride at all the past few weeks for different reasons. This weekend is out for me as well. We'll get back in the swing of things soon though.

 

I've only missed one... Ill be there as always..

 

+1 - There seems to be something about the heat wave located between the 2 luv bug seasons, that tends to quite things down bit.

Of course, having my motor spread all over a workbench, doesn't help either.

I think Gator nailed it. It seems to be a combination of summer heat, people moving, and just overall life taking over.

For me, I haven't been riding much since my wrist is still recovering from the accident. I did get some riding in and this weekend I'm riding through the ocala area. It will be my last ride for months since I'm facing another surgery in 2 weeks for my wrist.

Hopefully this time I'll be recovered in time to ride to Ocala for the Rally.

 

I put up a ride with 2 days notice 2 weeks ago and got not one taker. Bunch of street queens...
