Day 2,
Today's ride was much better than yesterday's. Started out COLD and WET, but as the day went on, the clouds gave way to the SUN! By the time I got to Tupelo, the temp was up to 67, which felt really nice compared to the morning lows.
I wish I had a camera running when I rode past Fort Benning. There are 4 TALL pillars, 2 had eagle statues on them, I can't remember what the other 2 had, but they were beautiful. It was early, there were still some sprinkles in the air, didn't get a shot of em'.
But I did get an ok shot crossing into Alabama, then later got a shot crossing into Mississippi. When you're in GA on 280, you cross this waterway into Alabama. The next pic is right after the bridge.

 

Day 3 was the best day yet. Made it to Arkansas, got to ride in the mountains for a few hours. It's late, I'll try to post some pics tomorrow... There's a few good ones. -Steevo-

 

The 4 tall pillars at ft benning if they were red and white were the jump towers that personnel use to practice for airborne jump school.

 

Nice pics Steevo, keep Em coming :/. May I suggest if you come back thru Columbus Ga take 27 south all the way to I 75 .. 27 in Georiga is great ride. Have done that route a couple of times on 1 night trips. Have not been north of Columbus on 27 but plan a Crystal River to Chattanooga next month. Enjoy the ride o/">o
