Thinking about taking a ride down to the Manatee Viewing Center Friday morning. 6990 Dickman Rd Apollo Beach, FL 33572. It opens at 10 am. Water hasnt been that cold so I can't guarantee how many will be there. If anyone want to ride along let me know and we can pick a meeting place. I plan to get there right as they open at 10 am. If any of the lakeland and zephyrhills folks want to meet us there its a straight shot down 41 hang a right on big bend rd. and the center is right there where big bend makes its big bend. Just head for the smoke stacks.
Then maybe over to the Sebring Diner for a little lunch or anywhere else if someone knows whats out there. My knowledge of the area is even less down south than up north.

 

that's about 5 mins from my house... else i would meet you guys there.

unfortunately, i'm working on friday.... someone has to babysit the museum on black friday.

Sorry to hear that Scott, hows the new job working out? We can probably hit the diner between 1 and 1:30, a little late for lunch but its further south than I remember. I am open to other suggestions though. Kind of a short ride to the diner for you Gator if you have any other ideas let me know.

 

The big question is will I get my bike out of the shop today. If so, I will hook up with you somewhere.

What about Mexican cuisine? El Pirata in Arcadia gets good marks.

Man, I can't complain! I am enjoying it so far!

It will certainly put a cramp in my riding, since I had a lot of flexibility at my old job, but I am extremely thankful for good health, a decent job (with great benefits) and good friends!
