Had lunch at Gator Joe's today and on the way back witnessed a horrendous accident. Girl on sport bike panicked in a turn hit rear brake and stood the bike up and hit a truck almost head on. Bike looked like it exploded took a couple seconds to find the rider flying thru the air. She will make it but really messed up a knee as it caught the wheel well. She had a helmet on but it came off during her slide down the road. Was quite scary.

I had a friend on back and had to convince her to get back on the bike thought I was going to have to rent a car to get her back to Jacksonville.

 

Never a pleasant sight to see hope she isn't too badly hurt ...

 

Wish well and a speedy recovery.

 

Damn...that's ugly.
