It begs the question will the editing last longer than the trip?
The answer is: YES! But it's also a way to extend the trip, and re-live the trip. I was getting ready for work this morning, watched a little bit of video. Saw stuff that I didn't see while I was riding. Especially the clips that were shot facing the rear. Kinda like when you're riding, and you look in your mirror, and see the winding road or a majestic mountain behind you... For a second, you gaze, then quickly have to switch back to looking where you're going...
Now I just need to learn how to sync my front and rear clips, and create split-screen vids so you can look towards the front and rear at the same time!
...I think I'll go drive a bus for the rest of the day instead... -Steevo-

Do you have a rear camera on the bus?

Great pics! I was just down there earlier this month and miss it already. I had no idea about those caverns though. I definitely regret not seeing that!

Funny you should ask, Dave.
Even with all the lively discussions we've had here on the forum (concerning videotaping and such), I've never mentioned that I LIVE under the watchful eye of Broward County Transit. Currently there are SEVEN cameras on every BCT bus. And there is crystal clear audio recording as well. Does it change the way I operate the bus, or interact with passengers? Not in any way. Have I been called in the office, watched myself on split-screen, heard every word that I said? OH YES!!! But if you never get called in, you never get to see HOW COOL IT LOOKS!!!

Hey,
This is what I've been working on for two days. My first Split-Screen Video!
The clip starts heading South on US-129 towards "The Dragon", coming from the Foothills Parkway. The second part of the clip is all Dragon. I'm Sorry guys, but I was not doing a "Bonzai Run". I had my wife on the back, wasn't looking to break any records (or bones). It WAS a sweet ride though, had nobody in front of me, nobody behind me. When we got down to Deals Gap, I bought a few patches, got some fuel, guys were saying "Don't go back up, a couple guys just went down, it's a mess". I'm glad Barb didn't see that.

But anyway, here's the clip. NOTE: If you have a fast internet connection, try watching in fullscreen, and set the quality up to 1080p. And crank up the volume!

I started working on another new video from our trip. It will likely be another split-screen job, probably take me a couple more days to put it together.
UNLESS... The weather clears up. Then I might be out riding!

A bit off topic, but are those competition baffles in your Jackpots?
