I know a lot of you are already going to Biketober Fest. A group of us from Fort Pierce are doing a little ride around the lake. A friend is renting a bike. She has been renting and riding to decide on which bike to buy. She thinks this will be the last rental bike. She might end of buying one.

Anyways, we have planned a little ride for her on Sunday 10-21-12. We will be leaving Port St Lucie at 8:30 a.m (They wouldn't go any earlier. I tried..lol) heading through 714 around the top of the lake. We plan on being in Clewiston by 10:30 for breakfast/lunch. We will finish around the lake and stop at Treasure Coast Harley.

If you want to join in, please do. I understand some already have plans. I just thought I would put it out there if anyone is interested. Here is a link to the route.

hey Bert. It will be good to see you. We are leaving PSL around 830 am. We can meet you at the Texaco Station at 441 and 78 around 930.

 

It was a great ride. We had a great time. It was great to see Bert. We missed the breakfast buffet at the Clewiston Inn. We had some bike problems which caused us to leave later than planned. It worked out great, because the lunch buffet was AWESOME...

The meatloaf was tender and juicy. The pork with gravy was very good. The fried chicken was crunchy and juicy. Homemade mashed potatoes with gravy, collard greens cooked with fatback, green beans, and sweet carrots. There was some really good carrot cake for desert. I ate way too much... but what else is new...lol

The ride was great all day. Not too hot and not too cold. Coming from Moore Haven to Clewiston I took CR720... Turned out to be a great road with some good turns... Everyone seemed to like that road also.
