Jake I cant make Leesburg but am riding this weekend, just over 75 from you so drop a line sometime.

 

Would ride with ya but not leaving till Fri. unless plans change. Right now our plans are to leave Fri morning and meet up with some friends in Clewiston and ride up the rest of the way. Anyone who wants to ride along with us is welcome!

 

What kind of pace do you guys usually keep on these rides? I've talked to my FIL about riding to Leesburg but with a 4 speed Sporty you've REALLY gotta want to. 70 mph she's screamin' at 4k RPM and politely removing your fillings and any loose screws from the bike.

 

We usually keep it below 70. Kinda depends on which way we go. Up 27 is stop and go traffic through towns and will keep it under 70. The turnpike is a little faster pace. Not sure which way we are going. I like 27. I will be in no hurry and would rather take my time and enjoy the ride, plus theres watering holes on the way!! hehe
