I'm hoping to make it out with my old man for a day, preferable not a weekend so we can avoid a bit of the crowd. We're about a half our, maybe 40 minutes away (on a normal day), so any day should work.

I'll be the old guy in the black motorcycle clothes riding a Harley. Look me up.

Sounds good, I'll be the young guy on a 48. Should be easy enough.

If I could weasel my way into this thread a bit . . . I plan on spending a night or 2 and this is my first trip there. If I stay close to where Speedway Drive ends at Atlantic Ave (Hawaiin Inn area), is that fairly centrally located to most of what is happening? I plan to mostly drink and walk (not drive). I want to hit some of the bigger sites such as Rossmeyer, JPCycles, and others, but I want to park the bike when I start having a few beers. Any thoughts from some of you who have been there?

Stay close to Main St. on the beach end if you can find a room. They will be pricey now but, Main St. is where the late night action is.

There is a real good Seafood restaurant there on bay street just off Beach street.

Let's meet somewhere and ride together... I'm open to suggestions.
I like seeing the sites and people watching for sure....
I'll be riding down from Jax too. I'm down for either weekend, just let me know.
