Well, for those that know I was attempting to trade off the Sporty for a tourer, it's gone. I got a 2006 Electra Glide Standard Friday night. It's definitely a different ride but good. It appears that the previous owner swapped out some of the bodywork for Street Glide Denim Blue ones. Some may be a repaint. It will be a better canvas for personalization than the Sporty was IMO. Gonna swap out the seat & get a shorter windshield when I can. Looking forward to the longer, more comfortable rides that will be possible with this bike. Will take better pics ASAP.

 

Congrats on the new bike, now that you have a tourer we expect to see you more in the south or middle, dont think I have met ya yet. Suggest you do a few longish rides before you start upgrading, this way you can prioritize based on need. Read the touring section to find out what you "need" that you never thought you would "need".

 

Congrats on the new ride, the 300 mile hamburger runs will be a piece of cake now.
