Default Useful Android Phone apps for Riders

All freeware apps that i found useful... Sorry I am a geek, but I still love to ride

https://market.android.com/details?i...ankt.rainydays

I use this app when the weather starts turning on me. It is useful for letting me decide on an alternate route or when to just duck and cover.

https://market.android.com/details?i...apster.android

Useful for notifying upcoming redlight cameras or speed traps

https://market.android.com/details?i...per.gpstracker

Useful for logging a route up to a web page... if you have others that want to track your progress or such

https://market.android.com/details?i...thaler.fuellog

To track mileage, services and expendatures

https://market.android.com/details?id=cgeo.geocaching

Geocaching is an outdoor activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook. Some contain trackable "coins" or "bugs" that are to be exchanged from one cache to another and logged so its travels can be viewed.

Hope these might be helpful to others.

Do you have an app for all these so called fl crew members who have never ridden with the crew that will help then join in on a crew ride, vs just posting on the forum? Seems we have had a helluva lot of those lately.

Funny point... I was wondering how many posters are riders with us, or just posters.

In fact, I have to get out on a ride again all so I don't get "De-patched" myself.

Looking forward to the rally.

I use this one on solo trips and long days so the wife can see where I am and knows I am OK. I just shut it off when I stop at a cathouse or my girlfriend's house! Thanks for the links!

I'm glad u took my comments in stride, to each their own. I would be the one following you on a ride anyhow.

the crew does have some very tech savy members, sharing your info and mods is surely beneficial.
