Well I left Vegas yesterday, ht the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, rode across the mountains into Flagstaff, last night, got to hotel at 2130 or so, it was cold and dark coming across the mountains, hit over 8000 feet in elevation, by Snowflake, der and elk all over the place, got behind a car for the 80 mile run and stayed there, let him run interference.. Spent today taking back roads back down to Mesa, I feel like hanging here another day just riding the back roads crew, route 179 is badass, rode it last year during the HHC went back to actually see it today. We will have a blast next year. Its sort of like Tenn and NC on steroids, beautiful.
Getting front tire replaced, will go see Dean as soon as its done. Dean is a great dude, ya can tell the apples didnt fall far from the tree.

Glad I got to spend a bit of time with Jerry today. Tried to get him to stay the night and get a fresh start in the morning but he insisted on bugging out. He is headed to Globe tonight and will do the Salt River Canyon tomorrow heading north to the White Mountains. That's a ride we will be doing in April. I am glad I got to know Jerry a little better while he was here. Looking forward to riding with him again in April.
