The Georgia Peach Festival is occurring this year June 4-11. Anyone interested in riding up as a day trip, or spend the night? We have plenty of time to figure out the dates.

129 North to Hawkinsville, then 341 North to Fort Valley would make for a really nice ride.

The second Saturday, the 11th, is when they bake the worlds largest peach cobbler and everyone is invited to belly up, WOOOHOOOO!!!! They claim they have never ran out of cobbler, but I think we could change that!

I would be interested in riding up the 10th & staying over. (If there is enough to keep us busy)

 

That is what I am thinking. Going up June 10th, check out the Air Museum in Warner Robbins, then head over to the festival for the evening, get up the next day and go to the festival for some cobbler early and hit it back towards home.

 

I can not leave from Winter Haven on the 10th until about 8 AM. If you can delay your start time til mid morning I would be interrested in going.

 

Hmmm we might be able to do this one...I will check with my new job and see whats up.

 

Would like to ck this out but will be in Helen Ga. on the 2nd thru the 5th so won't be able to go back on the 10th. Will get out the map and see if a side trip is possible the first weekend. If you all go ride safe, Jim

 

I'm gonna keep this one on the radar...that's kinda my old stompin' ground but Spunky may be out of town then and I'll have to be home at night to take care of the puppies. Sounds like fun if I can swing it.
