Default Solomon's Castle?

I know some, if not most of you, have been there. Is it worth it? The reason I ask, my wife said she might want to go there one weekend. Didn't know if it's anything worth going to. Is the food good, or should we just not even bother with it? Thanks guys, I know I'll get honest feedback from The Crew!!

Its ok, Kinda cobbled together over the years but you can dine on the ship that he built which is cool. If you go on the last saturday of the month you can hit Herbs at the Limestone Country club down the street and join in on the fun, They draw a big crowd on Band/BBQ day. http://www.herbslimestonecountryclub.com/

Funny, I was just thinking about the Castle this past week, and that it was about that time of year, when the weather is cooler, to plan another Crew trip there. The food is decent and it's a good location to meet-up with some of the more northern Crew.

If you're taking 64 out to it at least it's a nice ride. A good place to stop for a break. The last time I was there this guy was playing an acoustic guitar( not to well either) then put it down and started playing a flute Check please!!!

Yikes!!! Maybe we won't go there. LOL

Anyway, just told the wife where it's at, she didn't realize it was that far away, and now she's having second thoughts about it. She's not a long distance rider. Oh well, gonna try and find somewhere fun to go on the bike this weekend.

Cool thread. One of the most unusal restaurants in the world can be found at Linger Lodge east of Bradenton. Great food, bar & scenery http://www.lingerlodgeresort.com/

What are you referring to as IT? Are you talking about Solomon's Castle or Limestone? I've never seen any entertainment at the Castle.

At the castle. This was about two years ago, and I wouldn't exactly call it entertainment

Nice ride there....nice ride home...the Castle...not so much...limited menu..they stuck us outside in blistering heat...service was so so...I'd go just to hang with the Crew , but if I had a choice I'd go somewhere else..
