Was anyone aware of a bike night in downtown Lakeland on the 1st Friday of the month?

Any chance anyone wants to meet there tonight. Still trying to work out the details.

I am planning on going down for awhile, have other plans at 8 PM that evening so I won't be there long. Not sure yet if riding or caging. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect.

 

I am going. Will be on the Southeast side of Munn Park by Harry's Restaurant. The Lakeland HD store will be setting up there.

Almost responded to say I was coming, since I haven't connected with you guys yet. But just got my wife home after surgery yesterday. Probably not a good idea. Now, it's looking real ugly toward Lakeland, so probably best. How 'bout next month?

 

I was aware and let it slip. We will have to get a serious trip together for the next one.

 

There was a large crowd and alot of families coming in to see the bikers. One of the bands on the north end had electrical problems and were not playing when I headed out around 7:30.

Once the band on the north end got their electricity problem straighten out they were pretty good. I stayed till about 8:15 or so. They were a few vendors, mostly t-shirts, vest, and eyewear, and a few bike shops had booths. Crowd was fairly large but not a lot was happening. Maybe I left to early. Next month the first Friday will also be the first weekend of Daytona Bike Week. Not sure how that will work out for the Lakeland First Friday celebration.
