I want to thank you Cowpokes for extending your hospitality .
The bike all ready with new tires and all required maintenance & $$$ is not an issue
So close but no Cigar for me . Aside for fighting off an unexpected cold. which should pass . My logical side it telling me to stay put ,as my 91yo father is in the rehab ctr .
Not knowing when MediCare will give him the boot . And he will no longer be able to stay on his own when released . But dam was it ever tempting to roll .
Sorry if i was just spinning my wheels !
On the bright side I'll be following your adventures and wishing I was with you all.

Thats a possibility as I go up there at least once each year .
But it wont make up for missing this ride . Ow hell I just go back to bed and sulk .
Who knows I may just get a wild hair up my ars once I shake this cold.

Got about 3 days to think about it ..

 

Looks like Thurs and Fri will be a little wet til we get past the Louisianan border. On Sat and Sunday we will hit light rain and Winds going through the desert,man this is shaping up to be an epic ride.

 

I don't mind winds or rain so much, just don't like them together.

 

I sure am going to miss seeing the FL Gang this trip around. I hope you guys have a great adventure, it sounds like it it going to be a blast!

 

Yep Thursday looks wet, gonna have tunnel vision only seeing the Weeziana Border .. Just going straight west on I-10, because heading north is just as bad ..
