Ok I can't believe that I'll be the only one at Ocala for the first time this year, so I'm sure this thread could help out all of us new people. What the hell do you Ocala Vets pack for your trip?

I'm sure we could learn from the more experienced Ocala Rally folks......

Walther P99 and an extra mag... every trip I take.


OK... I usually over pack on shirts. some long sleeve...some short.. depends on how the weather holds up. Two pairs of jeans... yeah, I'm one that will wear a pair two or three days.. WHAT?.. they're still clean enough! Socks and grundies for each day.. and extra pair of socks or two if rain is in the forecast. Warm and cold weather gloves, phone charger, shot glass, and plenty of liquor!

 

Take a look at Ocala weather. 50 in the a.m. & 80 later in the day.
don't forget your chaps !! azzless or otherwise =-)
2 jeans, about 3 t shirts, 2 long sleeve shirts for hangin out at night bsing with everyone, gloves, chaps, sweatshirt leather jacket, chapstick, face mask.
those are the essentials. yeah yeah, other than alcohol i meant.
i only bust out the thermals when i see it in the 40's

Not one person has mentioned a toothbrush. Pack a toothbrush and sun screen.

 

I don't pack anything, I leave everything at my house. I live about 3 minutes from the motel.......

 

Well, I'm a rally virgin myself so you're not alone Gabe.

As for what I plan on packing, normal stuff for when I go away for the weekend, jeans, sweatshirts, t-shirts, glock 19, meds, laptop, extra pair of shoes, etc.

I noticed some mentioned they're bringing up liquor - is it byob?

Oh god is this funny. I hope MasterBlaster is somewhere near his keyboard. I will LOVE his answer.

To give everyone a clue- it won't be much more than a tarp, sleeping bag, a can of tunafish, and lots of ammo. The Crew that went to Sturgis this year had several nights of all of us talking about the subject of over-packing.

Personally, I am going to try to do three nights reduced-down to a small roll-bag.

I can't wait!!!!!

 

All Jerry needs is a P-38 , a bag of M & M'S and maybe some ammo
