Seminole Harley Service Special
I do not work for them
I did not buy my bike from them, long story
however I do get my bike serviced there
You may or may not care for them
I just wanted to pass this info on
For the month of Sept, I know its almost over, they are taking $150 off
any 1, 5, 10K service. I was only needing a oil change, but went with everything.
Total was $150, I brought in my own Amsoil.
Just passing the info on, take it for what it's worth
Happy riding

If ya got the money and don't have the time. I can understand why someone would drop off their bike. Otherwise, why pay someone for something you can do yourself? I'm a believer in that in all aspects, for instance, I'd rather watch **** than get a call girl! But seriously, once you DIY and realize it's not that difficult (and renew your man card) you might be more understanding.
Thanks for the info though confused! This was good info for 'those' types of people

I admit it, I don't have the tools, time, space (no garage) to DIY
I am planning a long trip and like the idea that my bike was looked at from front to back
Was it REALLY looked at, I can only hope. Maybe I'm too trusting
So here is what they are supposed to do:
-change engine oil and oil filter.
-inspect air cleaner and serivce as required.
-change primary chaincase lubricant and clean magnetic drain plug.
-check/adjust primary chain.
-check clutch adjustment.
-change transmission lubricant and clean the magnetic drain plug.
check and adjust belt.
-lube the foot/shift brake lever bearings.
-check rear pedal adjustment.
-inspect brake pads and discs for wear.
-flush and replace brake fluid resivoir levels.
-inspect oil lines and brakes systems for leaks.
-lubricate the front brake lever, throttle control cables, throttle, clutch control cable, and hand lever and jiffy stand.
-check, adjust operation of enrichener.
-inspect fuel valve, lines and fittings for leaks.
-clean fuel filter screen(carb only).
-check operation of all electrical equipment and switches.
-check battery condition and connections.
-change spark plugs.
-check tire pressure and inspect tread.
-check wheel spoke tightness.
-inspect, adjust, repack front fork bearing.
-check condition of rear shock absorbers.
-check air suspension-pressure,operation and leakage.
-check stabilizer and engine mounts. check tightness of all fastners except engine head bolts.
-lubricate hinges,latches-fuel door, tour pack, saddlebags.
-check engine idle speed adjustment.
-road test.

cap access door hinge (Who would do that?). WELL...I always kept a 20 dollar bill
under the lid in case of emergencys. The mechanic lifted the lid to lube the hinge (who would do trhat?) and found my tenty. He took it aside....and ASKED ME IF I WAS TESTING HIM. He is a good guy (Hedonist Custom Cycles..just south of the Last Resort Bar in south Daytona). Bless you all that can manage to work on your bikes. Me? I can't stop my primary from leaking . Leaks more now after I changed the gasket to stop the leak. (yes....I torqued to specs....and after it still leaked, I torqued it more).
