Default Insurance

Hi Guys,

Been following the adventures of the Florida Crew for a while now. Bought a place in DeBary a year ago, DeBary is right beside Orange City which is near Deland which is just down the road from Daytona International Speedway.
Last week I bought an 2010 Glide Classic from Gator Harley in Leesburg made a hell a deal.
Wifey says we don't need a second bike... I told her that she was using logic and that was just silly.
Anyway I was just wondering who the Florida Crew likes to get insurance from.

Thanks in advance.

Signed,

One Happy Canadian

Geico, treated me good so far with accidents and roadside assistance. Think they are a little more expensive but worth it.

I used to have Progressive only on the bike. I've had State Farm forever on all other automobiles and houses, so with my new bike, I switched to them. So far so good.

I currently have State Farm on everything (including my house, not sure how/why I didn't get dropped). I priced Geico and it was exactly 1/2 the price, asked my agent about it and she said it could be an introductory rate and would go up on renewal. I'm sticking with State Farm. Insurance through HOG was almost double State Farm.

Have had Allstate since '89 for everything I ride and drive. Paying roughly $30 a month for full coverage + some for a first-time bike owner just north of you in St. Augustine.
Took care of me back in April - w/no B.S. to have to deal with.

I have been with Progressive 4-ever, they were Johnny on the spot for me after my accident. I would place State-Farm on the bottom of my list just because of the way they treated all the homeowners down here in Florida. I do not think cherry picking should be allowed. Either insure them all or none and get out of the state.

Back in February, I shopped Geico, Progressive, State Farm, 21st Century, and a few others, for HD and 2 autos. Geico had best deal for us this time. 2 years ago on the cars, Progressive had best price.
