Glad to hear you are employed again. And don't forget to ensure HD does a thorough adjustment and alignment on the kenuder valve.

Me too! Just waiting for that first check in about a week, hopefully.

Kenuder, huh!? Gotcha...right along with the Flux Capacitor, the multiplexor modulator, and rotate the muffler bearings!

I can't believe that no one has reminded you to have the dealer install fully synthetic blinker fluid at the 1K service.

Grow some and tell her to stay the **** out of YOUR garage. and take a picture of her face when you tell her so you can post it later. That is if you are still with us.
Buy the manual and learn how to wrench on that thing. It will save you thousands in the long run and you can use that money to buy some trick parts. That is if the little wifey will let you.

Holy crap! With what the dealer charges, you have to do it yourself. I went into dealer today. I have almost 3000 miles on bike. Oil change only with HD oil-$145.00 Synthetic-$175. Give me a f ing break.

Dealer wanted $367 for a rear tire change. Hate to find out how much a chromium articulator will cost me.

Just had a full 10,000 Mile Service done by my Local Indy yesterday and he does the all the work too, checks everything with a fine tooth comb, he may well be the best indy in FL Bottom Line Oil, Filter and All $223.11 Stealership would have been at least $350.00

I would have done this myself but too much going on getting ready for Sturgis trip coming up, that and a Heat Index of 130 degrees in my Aluminum Garage ..

Make sure you don't forget to only use only Harley certified air when adjusting tire pressures, I find that the summer blend is adequate for year round down here in Florida, You might need to use the winter blend though since you are so far up north. I would check with the Dealer and see what they say for your area.

I am pretty sure at 1,000 miles, the air just needs to be rotated. I believe at the 5,000 mile service it needs to be changed. Don't let them talk you into that.
