Default Love Bug Info Requested, Deland - Orlando

What are the Love Bugs like between Deland and Orlando? I have to be in Orlando on May 30 and I am thinking of riding up to Deland on May 29. I don’t need to make a decision until Friday so I will be interested in updates.

So far they have been light between Lakeland and Orlando. By May 30th they should almost be gone, been a real light season again for those #astards. Hopefully there is something out there that is killing off the population.

Usually if it is a wet winter or spring they are light!

I have seen very few love bugs here in DeLand. Should be no problem.

Rode SR 415 NSB to Sanford Saturday, crazy bad, damm they taste bad, stink and are a pain to remove. It's hit or miss, roads around that area very few.

dont base a good ride on your descion of love bugs. when you hit them, or they hit you. put a wet rag on the bike and let it soak. they will slide right off.
