What time of the year was the last Key West ride?

Thinking about planning a ride there for later this year.......

 

Naples HD has a run planned for Sept 23-26th. I'm thinking about doing it. You can see it on their website at http://www.hdnaples.com. I was in there yesterday and picked up a flyer, good rate for the Crowne Plaza LaConcha. PM me if you want the contact number for the organizer.

In the past, the Crew rides to KW were held in January. The trip this year was basically canceled because the general consensus was that $150+ per night for the cheapest dump of a room was just not in most peoples budgets.

 

Naples HD was able to get The Crowne Plaza LaConcha for $139, still pricey though.

 

Yea, the price comes down a bit Out of Season. Nov-April is always more expensive.

 

BlueStreak wants to go down in Sept when the rates are really low. I told him we should wait until the second week when we are in the peak of hurricane season.

 

Driving my F150 down there tomorrow and being a native "conch", just cause I love the place! The rate for Sept 24-25 at the Best Western Hibiscus near Duval Street is $109. Great little hotel I have stayed at several times and very convenient. No bike, wife going down and she does not ride. Anyone interested in going down in Sept. let me know.
