Ggood job buddy, make sure you pay attention in the next phase this is what you will do and its important you know what you are doing. EOD is serious stuff, lots of people will be relying on you. Again, Good job, 9 weeks aint so bad the world still the same you didnt misss nothin.

So im on the road....having some fun talking to the family and seeing the outside world. In case you didnt understand what was said earlier in the thread, Basic cuts you off from the world entirely for 9 weeks straight....

Hey folks. I just thought I'd let everyone know that TwistedHass graduates from Basic Combat Training this Friday in Fort Jackson SC. From there he'll go to Advanced Individual Training at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville AL. He'll have access to the computer this weekend if anyone would like to drop him a note. We can't wait to see him. Just in case it doesn't show I'm pretty darned proud of him.

We picked him up at Ft JAckson SC and took him to his AIT station, Redstoen Arsenal in Huntsville AL. He'll be there for 10 weeks then he'll go to Eglin AFB to the Navy EOD school.
Oh...and he did put on about 10 pounds (not as much as I thought he might)

Ok Phil so i did go in to basic at the weight of a feather but 10lbs wasnt much to gain....i need more still. MasterBlaster ill be sure to pay attention at all times just cause there are no such things as bad eod specialist....and im ganna make sure im a good one.
Im on week 2 of training, still havent started an actual class simply because of some left over damage from basic that flared up so i had to get it taken care of, but in about 10 days ill be back in the fight to get these classes done and back to fl so i can ride with the crew.
Thanks again everyone for the words of encouragement that you posted both on here and on my facebook, they all got to me and made the days easier at basic.
Have fun riding and be safe everyone.
