I must have had a few hitch a ride with me up to Gainesville Saturday, I got out of them just north of lakeland somewhere in the Green Swamp and did not have any more for the rest of the day.
YEA!!! I forgot about that. At least now I have someone to blame!
I rode up 441 to YeeHaw then across Hwy 60 to Bartow. I encountered a light dusting of the black menace even on my gas tank. By the time I was 10 miles south of Bartow I had to stop and wash off the wind shield so I could see. Down 27 then Hwy 98 back toward the coast in the late afternoon was almost a lovebug free zone. What little there was must of got washed off be the scattered thunderstorm I encountered. Even a light dose of lovebug is a real mess.
