I just stepped out on my carport and got swarmed and I am less than a mile from Sarasota Bay . I can imagine what they are like out east. Looks like they are here, That initial sighting must have been a fluke. Speaking of Bugs, One thing I miss about living a little further north is Lightning Bugs, We dont have any around here. Anybody in Florida have them?

 

I was like a kid when I first saw them last year in NJ. I was just so freakin amazed, my family thought i was on drugs the way I watched them. Interesting lil critters..
Now I'm concerned about the bugs I may get on the Lake ride tomorrow..I'll post an update afterwards

 

Well not to bust up your Saturday ride, but that's why I'm doing coastal on Sunday.

I am riding up to Gainesville today, Seeferdog said he encountered just one on his ride a couple days ago. Hope that is all I get today.

 

Wish I was riding to Gainesville today. If ya see a black crotch rocket up there, wave him down and buy his lunch.
