Leesburg bikefest 2010

Y'all be careful and have a great ride! Do not forget to take some pics to share with the Cripple. I am having to get all my riding done vicariously these days. Ride a mile for me and I hope that fair winds and good fortune accompany all of our Brother's and Sisters on the road for this event.

Nice pics.
Me and my crew of family members were able to hook up with Jeff at Gator joes friday. we finnally found each other after dinner was over and we were leaving. Then I waited by the clock until noon to go on that ride and Jeff said he had already ridden that morning. Oh well. I will post up a few pics I have. I did get to hang out at Kool Cats for a few on Saturday. That is a really cool local bar down the street from gator joes.

Ok. I went. I would call it... uh... tame.
It was definitely crowded and hot as others have said. Nice... and very little naughty. Good for beginners or to take your wife to and say... see, honey... there isn't any wild stuff at biker rallies. You are just imagining things and listening to rumors!
They will need to get more area, and less duplication of vendor products. It would be great if this could grow and replace Myrtle Beach.

I heard they are trying to extend it to a week.
Does every bikefest, bike week, bike????? have to be a drunk fest?
The area of and around Leesburg said they made enough $$$$ to carry them through the year.
In these times it was nice to hear that "we bikers" made a difference.
If this does turn into a drunken, naked women, "true" bikeweek then they will be right where Daytona is now; low turnout, people not spending $$$$, city complaining.....

(Coming from someone new to riding and bike events)
It was tame, which I thought was a good thing.
Most people seemed to be respectful.
We went Saturday a little before 10am, then left for a few hours and came back in the evening around 7pm with a driver for the night, we left shortly after the Warrant concert.
If it was full of disrespectful rowdy people, I probably wouldn't go to another event.
