It's getting closer!
I know about 8 people from one of my company's suppliers who are going down for the day.
Don't wanna ride with them if Eddie is riding down Saturday morning. If he isn't then I will hook up with them....maybe.

Either way I will be down there on Saturday. Gonna have my camera and video cam.
Gonna try and park on the main drag where I can be close to the action.
I wonder if Old Skool is gonna be there, or is he rebuilding, again. I'd really glike to see his sporty this year!

 

So the event is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, right? What happens on Sunday?

Is there a handout guide or is everything in Historic Leesburg?

Looks like it will be in the 80's this year. I plan on being there.

Things do slow down some Sunday but there is still plenty going on Sunday on Main St and at Gator Harley.

In the past BlueStreak and I have breakfast then head south for home early on Sunday morning but I hope you make it and have a great time.

 

i should be there by noon on friday. i would like to get together with some of the crew sometime on friday. anyone down with that? anyone want to ride or meet up at Gator Joes on Friday evening for dinner? my GF and me are wanting to go. between 6 and 7? Or we can meet in leesburg and ride out there together.

Myself and a friend are going, weren't sure whether we were going to come down on Friday or Saturday, I read somewhere that they were charging to get in for this? And that it moved, but maybe that was another Florida event. I will keep an eye on this post to see where the meet up will be. Maybe I can join ya all.

 

Stay in touch. I plan to ride up on Friday as well. Bluestreak and I rode up last year with the SCRC out of Fort Lauderdale but haven't heard a plan for this year.

 

Going up Friday with 15 to 20 friends......we're staying at the Best Western in Tavares.......hope to hook up with the crew........Rich (from the Keys accident) is even coming up with us. I can't wait, it will be my first time.

 

I'm all over this, will head up Friday and stay in Mont Dora. Any one from the southern crew want to join in and possible split a room?

 

Each year it's more crowded, but it's a really fun time. Like someone said, Saturday is packed, get there early or plan to park and walk some distance (but not too bad). Some pics from last year of the vendor streets and main st.

 

I got an email from HD in Sunrise... they are putting together a ride up there taking 27 the whole way. According to Google Maps, it is 20 miles shorter, and 20 minutes longer than taking the turnpike. Odd thing is, they are also setting up the overnight at Destination Daytona, but that is 75 miles away. I guess they figure they can drup up some business for their hotel to boot. They are leaving Saturday at 8 am "sharp".... but they usually dick around too much and get rolling an hour later than they say.
