Final Itinerary
Sgt. Daniel Angus, 28
United States Marine
Brandon / Bushnell, Florida
Saturday, 06 Feb 10
Sunday, January 24, 2010 Marine Sgt. Daniel M. Angus' parents were notified that their son had made the ultimate sacrifice in combat in Helmand province, Afghanistan. His father, a Navy veteran, went out to the front yard and solemnly lowered the flag to half staff.
Sgt. Angus was on his third combat tour, having been to Iraq twice. We are truly humbled that the family, through their CACO, has invited The Patriot Guard Riders to stand in Silent Respect for their Hero at services for him in the Tampa Bay area.
Sgt. Daniel Angus “died doing what he loved”, according to his mother Kathy Angus. He died for his Country. He died fighting for our freedom. Please join us as we stand in silent respect for Sgt. Angus and his family, friends, Brothers and Sisters in Arms, and his community. We are a grateful nation that will never forget the sacrifice that he and his family have made.
