Good point cHarley, MB should edit that. My good buddy never likes people to know just what is in his arsenal, never talks about it publicly even.
MB, speaking of sucky selection of ranges, up in NJ there was a state park (side of a mountain ) and was w/o the bullsheet of a ranger, it was all common sense used. In AZ my sister pulls over the side of the road (between vegas and phoenix) and target practice again on the side of a mountain. Never has any trouble, not sure it's legal or not though. hehe
Jeff Fla, np bein old school I think Jay meant revolver when he nicknamed it "wheel gun" correct me if I'm wrong but I ***-U-MEd the wheel would be the revolving chambers..seems sensible..
BTW I would love to join a ride if my damn bike runs and furthermore like to see what its like to shoot a pistol. Maybe I could take the course with BDM, I'll bring a pair of suspenders to help control himself

[quote=cHarley;6125026]Hmmm, do you really think that bragging on the internet, about the weapons arsenal you have stored at you house is the smartest of ideas?

I took a CCW class at Gander Mountain that included everything. That is the course and documentation, a trip to a range, paper work (which they make sure you fill out correctly in class), photo's, electronic finger printing and even the envelope to send the package out in. Total time 3 to 4 hours. Two friends that are police officers chose .380 Kahr's (for leg carry) but were both disappointed with feed problems even after sending them back to mfg for adjustments. Both have gone to Kel Tek and are pleased.
