I am looking to see if anyone knows a guy and his wife who stopped to help me install a new battery on Gibsonton Rd & I-75.

My battery died and my bike died while I limped it home. I ran to Wal-Mart to get a new battery and this guy stops to help. This is after several Hillsborough Sheriff's Deputies drove by my wife standing next to my bike (while i was on hers at Wal-Mart).

Thanks again bro for stopping to lend a hand.

BTW, I'm looking into a Ruger LCP for myself and my wife!

Pay it forward, I always stop. Metric or Harley, bailed two young potheads from Chicago out north or Jupiter last year, hehe they were literally potheads on SE Tourers. Glad ya made it home okay

I havn't yet the opportunity to help, I do look over and ask for a thumbs up or down when I see a fella on the side of the road hhowever. Cages too occasionally. Whats scary is that may actually be a trap to mug/rob people.

 

gotta ask you say you got your battery at walmart? what kind and how much? i am do for, no i actually need one. i think i still have the original battery in the 2005.

 

I had to buy an EVERSTART battery for a softail (it's smaller than a touring battery) for my RK. I paid $70 (ouch and I never heard of the brand) just to get my butt home.

If you know anyone who needs a softail battery, I'll sell it to them for $35...only 1 start on it!
