Yep spent time in Carazozo, been all over the area when I lived in El Paso, not on a bike though. Beautiful area.

Don't forget it is $700 a week for a bike rental if you are a HOG member. If not it will be much more. It is more of time VS money thing.

HOG Member here although it was free and about to expire will renew for the 700 a week Bike and plan on staying a full 7 days as well .. Allowing for charges they don't show and everything, figure the Bike rental and Total flight costs will run about 1400.00 Was allowing 3K to enjoy doing this can have a lot of fun with 1600.00 .. plus the fact travel times is only 6 hours .. Rather than 3-5 days depending on traffic and weather .. Plus Lucy will come for sure if I fly ..She may not participate in all the riding, but will be doing some for sure..

From South Florida, it is about 2400 miles each way... so even at 800 miles a day, that's 3 days of highway to get there. So flying is the answer for me... I get more time to ride in the beauty of AZ. I'm sure Kerri could joing me as well if I flew but would shy away from riding there, unless we had more time. When I retire and have more time, we would do more real long trips on the bike like that.

Exactly! When I rode out there last April I wished I had more time in Fla. The trip was nice and it was great to be riding my bike instead of a rental but half of my vacation was getting there and back. We have a weeks worth of riding just doing day trips I have planned here, plus the overnight trip to Tombstone. Think of it this way...you can do a road trip anytime but how often will you have a chance to ride this beautiful state? 7-10 days riding in AZ will be an experience that you will not want to miss, or cut short. Just my .02

Sorry about that. I deleted some. It should still be in your outbox to resend.
