Somewhere in Arizona that we can ride to Tombstone.. straped.. huntin for anyone wearin a red sash! OK, just kiddin 'bout the huntin part, but I'm all about riding into Tombstone myself. Never been there.. and Wyatt has always been one of my cowboy hero's. Just the thought of riding my trusty steal horse where he rode his trusty steed sends chills down my spine! I can't wait!

Okay, to you dudes who are concerned about packing for two up ride to Az, simple math, dude gets one pair if jeans two sets of underwear, and a long sleve shirt, you wear it all on the way out and back. While out there you just turn the clothes inside out every day and jump in a lake every 4 days. The math follows
underwear + 2 sets
+
inside out daily + 4 days
+
Swim in lake + 4 days
+
Wife fills bags with all comforts of home

Happy Rider

The bags go to the wife, problem solved. I might make it out there, if I do it will be riding. Just thinking out of box a little, you could UPS some clothes and stuff out there. I am signed up for the Hoka Hey in June so I have to think about it, I do have time limits even when I am in country.

Fly into Phoenix and rent from Chester's HD in Mesa(only official Fly n ride dealer in AZ).
I am scouting biker friendly motels in Mesa close to my house.

We are planning an overnight trip to Tombstone. Stay in one of the Hotel/Saloons. Really cool place. We can visit the cemetery where the bad boys are buried.

I have to try to figure this out. Having time-off is my worry. The real way to do this is to RIDE out there and back. I totally understand all the thinking behind flying, or trailering, etc. No harm, no foul for whatever gets ya out there. Remember, No Rules.

I can't think of a better pair of brothers to show us around out there, and then to be out there with the rest of my "brothers", would simply be awesome.

Go ahead and set your dates, I don't have problems submitting last minute paid time off requests, so I can get in sync when I can think through this some more.

Having missed Ocala has me really "jonesing" to catch up with everyone. I've been reading the PanHandle thread too, so that has me thinking also.

Hugs everyone!

P.S. I can pack light, and bless her heart, Patti does pretty well too. We did five days/four-nights, packed on the FB without a problem a couple of years ago.

Heading back home (and a little north) you can run through Lincoln, New Mexico.
Home of Billy the Kid and the courthouse where he made his last escape.

They've even preserved the bullet hole where he shot up the place.
