Will Miss you guys but agree it ain't cheap to get from FL to AZ no matter how you do it ... For me for Lucy and I both to be able to go Fly and Ride was the best option especially wanting to spend a week in AZ .. If Rode the bike or went my Truck /trailer talking another week getting there and back with our dogs and other obligations Fly and Ride was the best choice for us both to enjoy..

OK, I checked out the hotel and it looks good. It's 2 miles from my house. It has bike parking right outside the door. I recommend rooms 130- 142 as they have interior parking as opposed to facing the street. I looked at room 142. it has a king bed, kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave, a patio with 2 chairs that faces the pool. The room looked clean. They also have a room with 2 queen beds. The pool and spa are open 24 hours. The room includes a continental breakfast. Not sure about bar or restaurant but is plenty near by. I think the conference center has the lounge and restaurant but she said it not always open during the week. She said they have bikers stay often and have never had any problems with theft or vandalism. The price is right. She quoted me $50.00 a night plus tax for a total of $392.07 for 7 nights. She said to be sure to mention this quote when making reservations. I say book them early to get the spot you want. I am happy to take the 5 minute ride back over there and check out anything else you may want to know.

Thanks for checking it out for us Dean !!! I definetly plan on making the trip. Right now not sure what we are doing during that time though. Want to spend time with whatever crew go, but may very well venture off alone for a while and spend a couple of nights in Sedona. We have been there once, and have been longing to get back there. Incorporating riding a Harley really adds to the fun of it all.

Last time we were in Sedoan was the beginning of March two years ago. They had loaner mountain bicycles. One morning real early I took one up thru a trail and was up in the mountains. It was a little cold but felt great. Suddenly it started to snow and became a whiteout with huge flakes. I headed back down the trails and when I got back to the resort I was covered head to toe in snow. About two hours later it had warmed up to the 60's.
