OK Florida Crew since I missed the last infamous and soggy (run from the lightening) ride around Lake Okeechobee I'm planning on doing it Sunday 8/30/09. Of course to recreate the famous event we'll have to include a stop at Roland's Tiki Bar, then again I heard the new Sonny's is open in Clewiston. Remember the last time we were there, the place burned down within hours of our departure. Suspicions are still on Kimbo for that last minute trip to the potty.......(just sayin').




THE PLAN: meet up at Boonies 8:00am on S.R.80 (Southern Blvd for the locals). have some coffee then head West to 98 then North around the East side of the Lake. This would put us around into Clewiston in time for some lunch and libations at the Tiki Bar.

Who's in????? I have a couple new guys that want to join us and this would be a good chance to welcome them "Crew Style".

 

I can't take credit for that one...It was Kimbo that left the bomb in the toilet......

Don't think I'll make it for coffee, but Roland's Tiki Bar sounds like a plan. Any idea when you all would be arriving at Roland's?

 

I would think we should make it in to Clewiston between 11:00 and 11:30.....according to their website the live music starts at noon.

 

Count me in..... I did that ride yesterday with my wife as passenger. We stopped at Roland's right at noon for lunch.

Anyone in from the North Cuba Chapter to join from here to ride up to S.R.80 ? Master Blaster, can meet you at Cafe 27 again if you go.

 

I might do the Tiki Bar...gotta see what the week brings....I think MB is out of the country....

 

aw man, looks like i'm going to miss this one.
if all goes well with my mom (having a procedure thursday) and she is back home and doing fine i will be finishing up my sleeve on sunday. that just means i'll have some new ink to show off on the next ride !!
