Won't be able to make that one, made several jumps in Palatka back in the late 70's. It was a blast. First 2 times I ever flew. Went up in an old cessna 172 without the door and ducktape holding the engine cowl on. I will be back in the twisties of NC practicing my ditch clearing skills.

02Aug2009: NEW INFO. Would be really cool if we could ride up Sat the 5th, party somewhere that afternoon/night, and do the jumps (and/or spectator thing) the next morning. Any suggestions on cheap hotels near DeLand, and a good place to party? Also, unconfirmed details as of yet, but think the jump is $180, cash only <-- now that there's funny!, and no reservations until 3-days before. The more jumpers, the merrier, so just say the word!

sweet i was just going to ask for directions. since its on a sunday, that might be more doable for a ride up. i wasnt to sure i had monday off yet.
